About — the studio

A solo studio,
built for the long road.

Of. Spore & Bone is a solo-led independent studio making atmospheric, mobile-first multiplayer games. We believe a phone screen can hold an entire world — fog, footsteps, distant roars, and the slow tension of a hunt that knows you back.

Our work sits at the intersection of dark fantasy and quiet beauty: short sessions, lasting memories, and the kind of moments players record without being asked. We build worlds that breathe, creatures that mean something, and games small enough to slip into a commute but strange enough to stay with you long after you've put the phone down.

The most memorable games are not the loudest ones. While the industry chases bigger maps, longer matches, and more punishing grinds, we work in the opposite direction: tighter loops, smaller worlds, and the kind of unhurried tension that turns a six-minute match into something you'll talk about all week.

Our games live in dark, beautiful places. Drowned kingdoms reclaimed by spore-light. Forests that remember what they used to be. Creatures you might hunt, or might bring home. We're drawn to the texture between life and decay — the bloom that grows through the bone — and we build worlds where that quiet contradiction becomes the gameplay itself.

We are committed to ethical free-to-play: cosmetics over power, expression over extraction, generosity over manipulation. Players deserve studios that respect their time, their wallets, and their attention.
